Product Description:

This officially licensed James Bond 1 oz 2022 Silver Proof Coloured Rectangular Coin, which honours the 60th anniversary of Bond films, is something we are excited to showcase. Former intelligence officer and screenwriter Ian Fleming invented the fictitious British Secret Service agent James Bond in 1953. Before producers Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli and Harry Saltzman brought James Bond to the big screen for the first time in 1962, his well-known character appeared in 12 novels and two collections of short stories.

* 99.99% pure silver
* James Bond Collectable
* Tuvalu legal tender
* limited mintage of 5,000

The coin celebrates the legendary James Bond, an intelligence officer for MI6 who’s code number is famously 007 – the “00” denotes him as one of the few elite agents with a “license to kill”.

The coin’s reverse portrays a partial representation of the official 60th-anniversary logo ’60 YEARS OF BOND’, which incorporates the iconic 007 gun logo. The obverse of the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2022 year-date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality, this coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000.
