KJC has over 40 years of experience in rare and collectable coins and has been directly involved in some of the most high-value coin acquisitions in Australia In 1995 Kurt Jaggard Coins was the exclusive Australian agent for the French Mint for the 1998 World Cup and in 1999 KJC exclusively supplied, authenticated and graded all Gold Sovereigns to the Perth Mint for their 1899-1999 Centenary celebrations. For several years building up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics we also had exclusive Australia-wide contracts with Thomas Cook Limited with their leading branches such as Sydney City and Airport, Surfers Paradise, Cairns, Melbourne Airport, etc. marketing KJC products. In 2006 (April 11th) our KJC public auction arm set a new world record at the time (for any Australian coin or banknote) when we knocked down a 1920 Sydney Gold Sovereign for $582,500.
