As we enter a new royal era, the iconic Kangaroo bullion coins mark this transition with their new effigy of King Charles III while continuing to pay homage to Australia’s most iconic animal. These coins are stuck with .9995 fine Platinum and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1995.

Following the success of their Gold and Silver Kangaroo series, The Perth Mint introduced the Platinum Kangaroo coins in 2017 with an annual production. This 2024 Platinum coin marks the 6th year since their release and are packaged in individual capsules.
